Age certificate for our film

We chose our film to be rated 15 because the content involved within the plot is unsuitable for persons age 14 and under. This is because there is sustained or detailed infliction of pain or injury. There is also continuous violence and possessive characteristics during the whole film and so our coursework group thought it would be best to certify the film as a 15. 

Music Ideas for the Opening

We wanted to record our own version of Venetian Gondola by Ignaz Friedman, which is our chosen piece of music in our opening scene, to abide by the copyright rules. We asked the music teacher at our school, Miss Lonnborg, and she played the song on piano whilst we recorded it. We are looking to use it within the beginning of our film to juxa-position the erry opening, the panning shots of the house and the hanging of the girl.

We had a casting call for actor's that take Theatre Studies at our school. This is footage taken from the audition process, which proved very useful in seeing what type of actor and look we were wanting to play lead roles in our film. Although we did not cast anyone from this audition it gave us a clearer idea of what we were particularly looking for.

Narrative Choice

We chose to use the clown mask narrative as this was much more suited to our target audience and was would be a much easier narrative for our audience to follow. The teenager narrative choice would have involved drugs and would have been inappropriate for our selected target audience of 15+. This narrative is also much more focused on the brief as it includes more psychedelic and possessive horror.
